We are people of faith who believe in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, our Savior, and who are committed to God's Word as revealed in the Scriptures. As Christ's disciples, led by the Holy Spirit, we endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission by:
NURTURING our church family in the grace of the love of God,renewing our spirits through worship, prayer, study, witness and fellowship.
MINISTERING through our words and actions as God's empowered instruments, and being a beacon of hope, faith, and love in our community.
SHARING the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and inviting them to a personal relationship with Him; taking the truth of God's changeless Word into our ever changing world.
As Disciples, we strive to remain obedient to the teachings of Jesus and the New Testament by practicing a faith which is socially relevant and intellectually sound. Members are bound together in fellowship and service by belief in the central confession of the New Testament: "That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God" (Matthew 16:16). On other matters, the church recognizes the right of each individual to exercise freedom of opinion. This principle is a sustaining force in the life of the church. We hold that there should be "in essentials, unity; in opinion, liberty; and in all things, love."
