The purpose of the music ministry at HMCCC is to motivate, enlighten, heal and inspire through voices and instruments for God's Praise.

ADULT CHOIR
Ranging in every style of worship anthem each Sunday at the 8am or 11am Service. Performing Easter and Christmas Cantatas and/or major works.
CONTEMPORARY PRAISE TEAM
The contemporary service is lead by Thomas Hines and is joined by uplifting, spiritually lead voices.
YOUTHFUL CELEBRATION
A group of young singers of reading age through 13 years old, lending their talents in staged presentation.
HAND BELL CHOIR
Individuals who ring out God's praises each month.

Musical Director Mark Holcomb began singing for congregations at age eight. His first professional conducting position was at age 16 for the First Christian Church of Bethany, Missouri. After graduating Image: Mark Holcomb, HMCCC Music Ministries from high-school, Mark attended the University of Missouri-Columbia on full music scholarship, where he received Bachelors Degrees in Secondary Music, as well as vocal performance. Mark was formerly the Director of Music Ministries for Broadview Christian Church from 1991-2004. He attained a Masters degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in choral conducting from he University of Missouri-Kansas City, July 2007. Mark is a lifetime member of the American Choral Directors Association as well as Phi Mu Alpha, a professional fraternity for men in music. He is also a local and state judge for the Miss America Organization and is on the board of Miss Greater KC. Mark is the the Liasion for Truman Medical Centers Corporate Academy. He is on the board of the Truman Medical Center Healing Arts Committee and is chair of performance art for that organization. Mark is thrilled to be a part of the staff for a loving congregation and dedicated people of Hickman Mills Community Christian Church.
